About Me
I’m a student, researcher, creative, and author relentlessly pursuing ideas. I’m a systemic thinker who can’t stop seeing all the ways everything around me can be improved. You can call it focusing on the negative. I call it idealistic faith in the human capacity for progress. A trauma survivor proud of thriving, I advocate for others and share my story so other people know they aren’t alone. I travel the country and take mediocre photographs, and I’ve been saying I’m going to start doing yoga for the past 20 years. I think it might be a core part of my personality at this point. I’m back in school for a post-COVID career change. In my past life I gained 18 years of experience in events, music, promotion, and production, including living on the road for two years working events across the country. In my current iteration, I obsess over the ingredients and manufacturing process of cosmetics, skin care, and personal hygiene products. I’m still about that RV Life, though. My husband of 14 childfree years is pretty awesome. We’re business partners, nonprofit co-founders, classmates, and we speak each other's ADHD languages fluently. When I’m not in organization meetings or doing physics homework, I’m snuggled up with my cats crocheting and watching true crime. I abandoned all social media in 2022 and never looked back.

SRCI began with a thyroid disease diagnosis and continued as a passion project during COVID lockdown that grew into something bigger than myself. Here’s my story and why I am driven to build the most comprehensive database I can.
